Whoopi Goldberg Tour Bus Catches Fire

 

According to multiple media reports Whoopi Goldberg was forced to cut a show in New Brunswick short after her tour bus caught on fire Saturday night.

The tour bus was parked outside of Casino New Brunswick, where Goldberg was performing. According to Canada’s CBC News, a witness said audience members could smell smoke near the end of the comedian’s show, and that the hundreds of audience members calmly evacuated the auditorium.

It’s currently unclear what caused the fire, though police told the Canadian Press that it is believed to be electrical. No injuries have been reported. Goldberg’s rep did not immediately respond to request for comment, and neither her Twitter page nor her Facebook page has commented on the incident.
