Scott Waugh To Direct Blackout

Scott Waugh the director of Need For Speed and Act of Valor will be directing another action thriller titled “Blackout”.

The film which is written by Sidney King with revisions by Brooks McLaren, talks about a cop who’s tasked with transporting a mysterious and dangerous criminal across town. He’s put to the ultimate test when a city-wide blackout plunges them into chaos.

Broken Road’s Todd Garner and Jeremy Stein will produce this movie while Sierra/Affinity is handling financing. McLaren is co-producing, and Sierra/Affinity’s Nick Meyer and Marc Schaberg are executive producing. Kelly McCormick, Sierra/Affinity’s exec VP of production and development, is overseeing the production for the company.
