Playing For Real Madrid Isn't MyDream Anymore - Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has denied reports he would only consider leaving Borussia Dortmund for Real Madrid. The 27-year-old forward, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City, posted a message on his Twitter page criticising German media for suggesting he is only seeking a move to Real Madrid.  Aubameyang, who scored 25 goals in 29 Bundesliga games last season, admitted it was his dream to play for the Spanish giants when he was younger, but nothing more.

He said “I can read everywhere something that I never said 'only Real Madrid can take me from Dortmund', I don't know who transforms my words but I'm sad that people do like they want. I'm a player for Borussia Dortmund and in any interviews I was honest with you to say that it was my dream since I'm young but not more.

According sources, Manchester City have been in talks with the Bundesliga Player of the Year this summer over a possible move, with former Dortmund team-mate Ilkay Gundogan having already joined Pep Guardiola at the Etihad.
