Yesterday night the MTV Video Music Awards 2016 was held in New York City and it turned out to be one of the most unpredictable nights of television.

Aside from the performances from Britney Spears, Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas, MTV also fit in time to give out some special trophies in a variety of categories. Below is the complete list of those that went home with an award
