Whisking moviegoers off to New York City and the Roaring ’20s, Kravitz now joins a cast that comprises Eddie Redmayne, Gemma Chan, Carmen Ejogo, Jon Voight, Katherine Waterston, Ezra Miller, Colin Farrell and Ron Perlman. Following up on its San Diego Comic-Con showcase, Yates’ film is now simmering in post-production.
An integral part of the team behind this new spinoff series is, of course, author J.K. Rowling, who made her screenwriting debut with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Indeed the celebrated novelist has already contributed to the sequel script with David Yates, and is part of Warner’s team of producers that includes David Heyman, Steve Kloves, Lionel Wigram, Neil Blair, Rick Senat and Danny Cohen.
Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them bows on November 18, 2016.
