Mikel John Obi, is delighted to see the Super
Eagles climb ten places on the latest FIFA Rankings released on Thursday. The
Super Eagles rose to the 50th position placing eight in Africa, tied with
Burkina Faso who also moved up 17 places chalking up 616 points.
Mikel who
led the Super Eagles to two crucial wins against Zambia and Algeria in the FIFA
World Cup qualifying games expressed his delight at the improvement of the
three time African champions.
He tweeted
via his handle, @mikel_john_obi: “#SuperEagles up
another 10 places in the FIFA rankings.”
The Eagles'
unbeaten run under Gernot Rohr
continued in the month of November after wins over Tanzania and Zambia., with a
3-1 spanking of Algeria who dropped three places to 38th on the ranking.
