Netherlands national team skipper, Arjen Robben has extended his contract with Bayern
Munich.
Robben joined the German champions from Real Madrid in 2009 and his contract
was to expire at the end of this season.
The
new 12-month deal would see him remain at the Allianz Arena until June 2018.
‘I am happy that I will be playing another year
at FC Bayern,’ the 32-year-old said.
‘The club is one of the best in the world and
Munich has become a second home for me and my family. I want to continue to
play at the top level and win as many titles as possible.’
Arjen
Robben has scored 117 goals in 228 appearances for Bayern, winning five
Bundesliga titles, four DFB-Pokal Cups and the European Champions League.
