It's no news that entertainers are now finding their way into politics. Some entertainers that have gone into politics before now include: RMD, Kenny Saint Best, 9ice, Desmond Eliot to mention a few.
The Not Too Young Too Run campaign which was recently debated on by the National Assembly seems to have ignited more young entertainers to seek political office. In the light of this, some entertainers have indicated interest in politics in the last 14 days. they include; Gabriel Amanyi (aka Terry G) who yesterday showed interest to run for Benue state gubernatorial elections. Terry G though said he wants to run as both Governor and Deputy Governor of the state.
Aside Terry G, Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, who is son of Nollywood legend, Pete Edochie, has indicated his interest to run in the Anambra state guber elections and just yesterday, singer Kcee also declared his interest to run as a contender with Yul in the Anambra state guber elections which is to hold on November 18 2017.
