The Nigerian Writers Awards 2016 [@nwawards]: Highlights & Winners #NigerianWritersAwards2016

The Nigerian Writers Awards, which was held yesterday Friday, 6th February, 2016 at Terra Kulture Victoria Island, was the best of it;s kind. The event, which was supported by Absolute Hearts Media, The Punch Newspapers, The Nation Newspaper, Pulse Ng, MiTV, Television Continental and other brands, started 6:45pm on Friday (red carpet 4pm) with the National Anthem and a welcome address from the host of the event, Mr Modest Diko.

The award ceremony was launched in May 2015 to reward excellence amongst writers in Nigeria. This year's edition of the ceremony which is the maiden edition reviews January 2014 - May 2015.
