Six Months Before The Accident
Tunde and Chucks were seated outside,  their lodge light had just been seized so they decided to stay under the mango tree in front of their lodge so receive some fresh air. They didn't stay up to 10mintues the light was resorted but they didn't go back inside immediately, something caught their eye, an incident that actually gave Tunde the idea of the project he wanted to embark on.
Moment before the light was resorted Tunde saw one his student sitting on another mango tree two house opposite their lodge, he was actually looking who he could call to help them get some fried fish so they could take garri and that was when he spotted the boy. Seeing him there his thought this boy like play a lot, what if he falls from that place but that thought change immediately he called the boy and he saw the boy approach him with books on his hand.

Tunde: Uche, what are you doing on that mango and why are your books with you?

Uche: I was doing my assignment sir

Chucks: hahahaha your assignment on a mango tree, can’t you do it at home?

Tunde:  Abi why didn't you do it in the house?

Uche: I won’t be able to concentrate because my mummy would just be sending me up and down

Tunde: And you would tell her that you are doing your assignment

Uche: You don't know my mummy she would say maybe it is that assignment that would feed me

Chucks: Next time tell your mummy that Corper Tunde and Corper Chucks said they should stop sending you on errands whenever you are doing your assignment

Uche: hahahahahahahah

Tunde: You are laughing, what is funny?

Uche: If I tell my mummy that one she would ask maybe it is the Corpers that gave birth to me or her that I am obeying the Corpers and not obeying her.

Chucks: It is well with you and your mummy, take go to that woman that use to sell fried fish and tell her that the corpers sent you to get fish, use the remaining change to buy pure water, if there is cold one buy two.

Uche took the money and left and as he was going that was when it hit Tunde, the perfect idea of what his personal project was going to be.

Tunde: Chucks, I got it, it is a library

Chucks: What is a library?

Tunde: I mean the project I would do, it going to be a library

Chucks: hahahaha library for this town, guy that not possible, let even say you can complete the project before you go, who told you this people are interested in reading, people way be say na even beg them they beg them to come school.

Tunde: I know but really Chucks I am sure some of them are really interested in reading at least Uche is an example, who knows how many type of Uche we have. Most of this children, it is not as if they don't want to read but some of them their parent are against it that's  why they also give up.

Chucks: That's true sha, you know Ali Mohammed in S.S 2, he has a brother in J.S.S.2 that boy is very inquisitive most times na him dey make me always go their class to teach.

Tunde: You see if people like that were given the space to read and concentrate on their books, don't you think this village would be better, at least more people would be speaking English and maybe one day corpers won’t have to come to class and start worrying of how to explain better in Hausa

Chucks: Well I guess it's worth a try, but how do you want to proceed? I mean shey you go buy land?

Tunde: Hahahaha buy land ko buy land ni, shey na house I won build ni talking about land self, when I first came I was given a small portion of land probably like half plot to farm, maybe I can you that.

Chucks: hahahaha they gave you land to farm, guy na wa, you no tell me way I for don employ my student make them plant yam

Tunde: Even me self no remember if no be now way we talk go there

Chucks: So where the land dey?

Tunde: Not far, na behind school maybe if we drink garri finish we fit waka go there make we check am out.

That's all for today.....
