#AHMusicReview: Absolute Hearts Music Review:

It’s another beautiful Friday and we are here to serve you with the freshest and best sound coming out of Africa. Without further ado here are the songs we shall be reviewing on this week's Absolute Hearts Music Review:
1. Dr-Sid-Greater - Things: Not really a great song though I have to say Baby Fresh was able to come through on the production of this song and since it was released to celebrate his birthday, maybe we should just enjoy the song. The rating would be 7/10.

2. Vector x AO x DJ Embassy - Zobo: This is a G.R.A.P Music collaboration, Vector decided to introduce to new members of his label to us with this beautiful song titled Zobo. I like the creativity behind the chorus especially how Vector was able to blend some lines of K1 into it and as for AO, I have to say he wasn’t disappointing. The rating would be 8/10.

3. Lola Rae ft. Patoranking x RDX - One Time (Remix): Wasn’t really a fan of the original version of this song but I have to say Lola Rae outdid herself with this remix, she teams with Patoranking x RDX and together they gave us a very cool remix. The rating would be 8/10.

4. Sossick - Dreams: Sossick isn’t your regular artiste, he is that kind of artiste that when he drops a song it is not short of a classic hit and that is what this track is. You can tell that he is still one of the very few artistes that really miss Dagrin as this song was dedicated to him. The rating for the Xblaze produced track will be 9/10.

5. Kida Kudz -Issa Vibe: Kida Kudz really caught me off guard with this tune, for those of you that know Kida very well you would agree this isn’t his style but he was able to switch things up and he actually came through on it, the rating for this song would be 9/10.

6. Toofan ft. Patoranking - Ma Girl: Going across the border, all the way from Togo, we have Toofan featuring Patoranking with a decent effort titled Ma Girl. Not that fantastic but the West African duo were able to do the needful and the rating would be 7/10.

7. Klever Jay ft Reekado Banks - Kini Level Yen: Compared to what Klever Jay had done from the beginning of last year since his return to the music industry I would say this is one of his weakest track. Don’t get me wrong, this is a decent tune but if you compare it to his previous tracks you will realize this track falls short. I also felt Reekado Banks would have done more into bringing the song alive especially with that chorus. All in all, for this song to go far it will need a very nice video, the rating would be 7/10.

8. Burna Boy – Rock Your Body: As we await Burna Boy's next album Outside, he decides to keep us agitating for it by dropping this brilliant song titled Rock Your Body, though we heard that this song wasn’t due for official release it was only on pre-order on Itunes but unfortunately some bloggers where able to lay their hands on it and leak it which made Burna very angry. Nevertheless this is another fire from Burna and the rating would be 8/10.

9. Kriz Beatz ft. Davido x Tekno - Erima: If you are looking for a brilliant production mixed with a brilliant collaboration, then you are talking about this song. Kriz Beatz showed us why he is the hottest producer in Nigeria at the moment and he also brought two of the hottest Nigerian artiste on this track Davido x Tekno, together they gave us a perfect song in Erima. This is a song that will last all year round and the rating would be 9/10.

10. Reminisce – Level Yen: Guess who brought back hip hop, its Baba Hafusa himself, Level Yen is another dope rap song that proves that Reminisce is one of the best rappers in Nigeria. Listening to songs like this can only make you appreciate how far this local rapper has come, without a doubt the rating for this song will be 9/10.

11. Gemini Major ft. Emtee x Frank Casino - Bando: Going down to South Africa, we have Gemini Major with yet another dope track titled Bando. On this track he brought Emtee x Frank Casino and together they gave us an 8/10 song.

12. Phenom ft. Lynox - International: Phenom is one of my favourite rappers and I have no doubt that would have been one of the best in Nigeria but he lacks consistency, but still, whenever he decides to resurface he always makes a strong statement and he didn’t disappoint with his latest effort titled International and on this track he had Lynox, together they gave us an 8/10 song.

13. MC Galaxy ft. Sarkodie - Go Gaga (Remix): I honestly have to hand it to MC Galaxy, I never thought I would enjoy this remix considering the fact that I wasn’t really impress with the original version but oh my MC Galaxy took the remix to another level and he had help coming from Sarkodie. This is one song I immediately added to my playlist the rating would be 9/10.

14. Timaya Ft Rudeboy (P-Square) - Dance: Even before this song was released there was a bit of controversy around it. Anyway the song is finally here and this is might take. As expected Timaya has continued to impress as he has been able to keep his fire burning though for Rudeboy I would say I wasn’t really impressed with his verse and I feel the song would have fared better without him. Notwithstanding with wasn’t a bad effort, the rating would be 7/10.
