CW Release 'Supergirl' Season Finale Synopsis

The synopses for the finales of the current season of  Supergirl  have been released by The CW today and they tease some epic showdown and a couple of exciting guest stars.

SUPERGIRL FIGHTS FOR HER CITY; SUPERMAN RETURNS — Supergirl challenges Rhea to battle to save National City. Meanwhile, Superman returns and Cat Grant offers Supergirl some sage advice. 

Glen Winter directed the episode with story by Andrew Kreisberg & Jessica Queller and teleplay by Robert Rovner & Caitlin Parrish.” Supergirl “Nevertheless, She Persisted” will air on The CW on Monday May 22nd.
