There is no doubt this album will go down as one of the most anticipated album in the history of Nigeria music industry. From fans to music critic like me down to those that love good music and of course the marketers, everyone were eagerly waiting for the release of Wizkid's third album titled Sounds From The Other Sides.

The album was officially released on the 14^th of July 2017 and just in case you missed it, it debut on billboard 200 about a week ago. Seat back and relax as we take you into this beautiful journey of sounds coming from Wizkid.

The album kicked off with the song Sweet Love, part of the songs that were release to wet our appetite for the album and it was well received by fans though I would say this video caused a little debate but that is not why we are here. The rating of this song will be 8/10. 

Arguably one of the most anticipated single of the year, Come Closer featuring Drake is the next track on this album and I am sure by now we already know how the song was received but just like Sweet love the video of this song also brought up some debate. The Sarz produced track will have a 9/10 rating. 

Naughty Ride featuring Major Lazor which was also produce by Major Lazor is the third track off this album and the final single that was released before dropping the album. To me I would say this is probably the weak song on the album, there was just something about it, that didn’t go well. The rating will be 6/10.

African Bad Gyal is another anticipated song on this album, though there have been some leaks of this song but the official version came out this year and it wasn’t a bad effort from Wizkid and Chris Brown. The Sarz produced song got an 8/10 rating. 

Daddy Yo featuring Queen Efya is without a doubt one of the biggest single to drop off this album and till now the song still has a massive effect. The Dre Skull produced track will have a rating of 9/10. 

One For Me featuring TY Dolla $ign is up next and Wizkid did proper justice on this track as TY Dolla $ign came through on the chorus. The rating will be 8/10.

Up next is Perfect Picture and Wizkid really raised his game on this song, from the production to his lyrics and rhythm everything about this song was on point. The rating will be 9/10. 

This for me has to be the best song on this album, with Nobody Wizkid took us to another realm. And yes I had to wait till this moment to comment about the sounds in this album, it has been nothing but top notch and this song proves that. Spellz redefined afro beats with his production in this song and Wizkid didn’t also dull at all, this is another favourite track of mine from the album. The rating will be 9/10.

DJ Maphorisa also contributed his production genius on this album with the song title All For Love which features Bucie and together with Wizkid they gave us another brilliant sound as the rating will be 9/10. 

TY Dolla $ign reappeared for the second time on the album and this time he got his own verse. Dutty Wine is another brilliant song off this album and the production credits goes to DJ Mustard. The rating for this song will be 9/10. The album came to an end with my second favourite song from the album, the Del B produced track titled Gbese featuring Trey Songz. This song is a straight up 10/10 song.

For someone that I was really anticipating the release of this album because I really wanted to criticize it, I would say Wizkid disappointed me as he puts all his energy into the album and after listening from track one to twelve without skipping a track, all I can say is that these truly are Sounds From The Other side.

The total rating for this album will be 8.5/10, excellent job from Wizkid.
