Nigerian Boxer Wins Fight In 25 Seconds

Nigeria’s lone boxing entrant at 2016 Rio Olympics Efe Ajagba started his career in the professional ranks on a bright note in the United States of America on Sunday by knocking out his opponent in just 25 seconds.

Ajagba, a 2015 Africa Games gold medalist in the super heavyweight category, was too good for his opponent on Sunday. Fighting in the heavyweight class, Ajagba succeeded in dominating his opponent Tyrell Herndon with his trademark big rights.

Ajagba stunned Herndon who had lost only once in seven bouts with a right hook which sent him to the canvas. The referee was left with no choice than to count the American out on his feet as he failed to recover after the standing count.
