Lil Wayne hospitalised after suffering multiple seizures

American rapper and Young Money boss, Lil Wayne, has reportedly been hospitalised following multiple seizures suffered on his way to a performance.

Lil Wayne was scheduled to perform at an event in Las Vegas but was found by his team unconscious at his hotel room in Chicago. 

He was then rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where he was admitted.

Although his team tried to make sure that he was discharged, reports suggest the doctors advised against it.

Recall that Lil Wayne has been battling epilepsy and seizures most his life, with the most recent occurrence coming when his flight had to be diverted after he was also found unconscious.

The seizures have been attributed to his use of the drug, codeine, which the rapper has been associated with for most of his career.
