#AHMusicReview: Reviewing the songs released by an African artistes this week

It’s another beautiful Saturday we hope you are chilling. Your number one music review on the continent is back with another interesting set of songs for you the week. Remember we are also working on something to make Absolute Hearts Music Review juicer.

Without any further ado let’s give you what we have for this week;

1.      Lil Kesh - Apa Mi: Just when I was beginning to wonder where Lil Kesh has gone to, the Young And Getting It star makes his debut for 2018 with the song titled Apa Mi. I have to say this song has the potential to be a monster hit song as Princeton did a wonderful job with the production of this song, very groovy and bouncy beat. I still advice Kesh to stick with Young John or Pheelz in terms of production as they bring out the best of him. The rating of this song will be 8/10.

2.      L.A.X - Gbefun: Rasaki Ti De, after successfully opening his music company Rasaki HQ, L.A.X who had a very decent 2017 is back with another dope song and I have no doubt this would be another national anthem. Gbefun was produced by Minz and it is a brilliant Afro pop love song which will have a 9/10 rating.

3.      Ketchup - She Issa Flirt: She Issa Flirt is the second song from Ketchup and the Skilamatic act on a Paul beats production gives us a dope dance-all song sampling the famous sounds of early 2000’s. The rating will be 8/10.

4.      Uzi - Forget about Uzi: Uzi like you know is not your regularly rapper and he is most def better than most of your average rappers. He is among one of the best and the most versatile (stand to be corrected), sampling the famous Dr. Dre song Forget About Dre, Uzi shows us why he is one of the best rappers around. The rating will be 8/10.

5.      Medikal - Adwee Ba: Ghanaian act Medikal is here with a smashing hit titled Adwee Ba, from the moment the beat drops you can tell his it's a hit song. Halm did extremely well with the production as he gives us a very groovy sound. The rating will be 9/10.

6.      DJ Waxxy ft. Reason x Blaklez x Buffalo Soujah x Tay Grin – One Love: South African base Nigeria DJ, DJ Waxxy makes his 2018 debut and as legendary as he is, this track is nothing but brilliant. One Love is the message this song preaches and he enlist the service of Reason x Blaklez x Buffalo Soujah x Tay Grin and together they gave us a 9/10 song.

7.      Stonebwoy ft. Baby Get - Dirty Enemies: Ghanaian act, Stonebwoy who had a very decent 2017 is back with another decent song titled Dirty Enemies and this is more like a prayer to his enemies. He features Baby Get whom many know as Asamoah Gyan, yes the Ghanaian footballer who was impressive on the track. The MOG Beatz produced song will have an 8/10 rating.

8.      DJ Big N ft. Reekad Banks - I’m In Love: Mavin DJ, DJ Big N is here with another song titled I’m In Love and on this one he features fellow Mavin act Reekado Banks. The Baby Fresh produced track isn’t bad at all as Reekado Banks brings his A game on this and the rating will be 9/10.

9.      Dice Alies - Mr Biggs: After the success of his previous hit sing Otedola, Dice Alies returns with another sweet song and this one is titled Mr Biggs. As produced by Killertunez, this is a sweet melodious love song and another decent effort coming from the Chocolate City act. The rating will be 8/10.

10.  Skales - O Crazy: Honestly Skales is currently one of the most hardworking guys in the industry right now and reports say that the Baseline acts is working on his third studio album. To flex the weekend the Agolo singer gives us O Crazy which was produced by Chopstix and the rating will be 8/10, you will hear some very familiar lines in this song.

11.  Tiwa Savage ft. Omarion - Get It Now Remix: Even though I would have still preferred an original song but this remix is so hot I will make do. When Tiwa released the Sugarcane E.P, Get It Now was lit and this remix with Omarion just made the more sense. This is another dope Nigeria/America collaboration, the rating will be a perfect 10.
