Is God To Blame...? By Lekan Aminu

A thousand years may fade away, lies and may be woven into different umbrellas which we now use to cover the truth, we may build our entire existence and generation with pillars of deception and deceit, but the truth remains  bitter! So bitter no one wants to swallow it anymore.

What is happening to you my love ...?

Your tears never seem to end. Too many heart breaks, too many wrong people, they don't love you like I do... just give me a chance to treat you right, give me a chance to mend your broken heart. We're not all the same. I'll give you all of me and treat you like the queen you truly are.

Those are the words they use to do your package every time, yet you fall...chai!! All this sharp naija guys, there is God ooo.

You fall so hard for them, you give them the shattered pieces of your broken heart...yet they take it all and smash it like a cup of agbo jedi given to a 4 years old.

I understand you're broken and desperate for a change from every Tom, Dick, Harry, including Segun, Mustapha and Chukwudi.
I understand you're soft so they treat you like a pot of spoilt ogbono soup..
I understand you have hope that's why you always give them a trial.
What I don't understand is why...why you don't want anything from them except their love...

You let them see the beautiful you, the naked you as though you are a prostitute at Allen Avenue. You let them between your two thighs, they take your virginity every day, yet they produce rotten eggs...maybe they're unproductive semen is made of spoilt tomato juice. I'm talking to you unproductive elements that call yourself citizens. Your love for Nigeria is only shown on democracy day.
What does it cost you to make her a better place..?
Is it too hard to do the right thing..?
Do you really love Nigeria or you just love her money making opportunities..?

I'm still talking about you...yes you! You who forgot about the Chibok girls because of The World Cup. First it was "BRING BACK OUR GIRLS". You showed your concern at first, you were mannequins of those words on T- shirts and face caps. One would think you really cared until it became "BRING BACK OUR BOYS". Was it all a joking matter to you...?
Now no one even remembers them anymore. Maybe because your sister was not involved. There is God in everything you are doing.

...and as for you that call yourselves leaders, hope the preparation for the coming election is not too stressful...? I'm sure it cannot be stressful. After all, you need the posts to claim Her money. You're all prodigal goons! You drink the sweat of citizens and swim in the pool of their labour. Running helter  skelter and having meetings after meetings cannot be stressful, sleepless nights due to  campaigns cannot be stressful but signing a road commission, providing better educational facilities is stressful. We feel your pain very much.

I honestly don't understand what leadership means anymore. I thought leaders are servants, I thought with leadership comes responsibility, I thought the essence of a leader is to look out for the masses...but not in the Giant of Africa. The only sense of responsibility is their bank accounts and stomachs.  The hilarious part is that you blame them. How can you..?

You call yourself a police man and all you police is the meager income the okada riders and bus drivers struggled to get. You've stooped so low that 50 naira is your worth. At last, you realised you're better than 20 naira! Yet they say "police is your friend" how can they...? A police man once stopped me and asked for my vehicle particulars and I boldly showed him forgetting it was December. The hungry man said I showed him the primary particulars and he must also see the secondary particulars. I wonder when vehicle particulars started going to primary and secondary school. Now imagine you who forcefully takes 50 naira from hustlers mount Aso Rock as president, you'll sell the whole Nigeria.

Even you spiri koko you sit there and judge others. You think you're better...?
Who has the church produced to take leadership positions?
Milk Christians that can't be an ambassador of Christ. You are not even the light of your compound yet, you think you can be a light in Aso Rock. All you've done so far is criticize women that wear trousers and make up...all you do is criticize your fellow Christian women that don't wear scarf. Hello Mr. Doctrine and Mrs prayer warrior, keep praying for all your enemies in the village to die, but remember you're also an enemy of Nigeria. Yes you are...where is your light? Are you still a valid salt of the earth or you're already dust. Just a little temptation, just a little bribe and you crack. You've allowed the world to define who you are.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son...what have you done for Nigeria to show your love..? Your lies make the devil look like a learner, money now defines your very existence. A nation where council membership is based on the type of car you drive. You've even forgotten the meaning of the word "Christianity".
Is Jesus showing in all you do...?
Where is your Christianity...?
Are you a Christ ambassador...?

Don't even think I've forgotten about you Alhaji. I know you are a prayer champion. It's so evident with the dark spot on your forehead. What I don't know is why your religion moves with death. Must the Boko- Haram be Muslims...? You fight Christians every time, you slaughter them like Christmas chickens. To you, blood is water...or maybe you just like the red colouration. I'm guessing it takes you high seeing it on the street.

I know  your excuse, after all that's the widest umbrella you can hide under. We know there are good Muslims and bad Muslims...but must the spilling of human blood come from your end..? You're always so quick to slaughter Christians, always so quick to make your point! At least, now we truly know the religion of peace.

I keep wondering which religion permits lies and stealing. Do not judge Christians because you're all in the same boat with an exception of Nigerians blood on the gate of your religion.

If our religions can't save our country, what  will...?

Stop been a shame to your religion. Stand for nothing rather than pretending to stand for one. Stop given people a reason to mock your God.

One man alone cannot save this country, but our religions can.

Or is God to blame for showing so much mercy...?
Is He to blame for not given you immediate punishment for your crime and sins...?
Is He to blame for giving out intellects that manufactured money...?

God made man,  man made money, money made man mad.

Is God to blame for making you who is now a bane to Nigeria because you have money or because you want money...?

Is God to blame that He loves us...?
Too many question... need I say more.
