Rivers State Government Lifts Curfew

The Government of Rivers State on Thursday lifted the curfew it imposed on the state following the crisis that erupted after last Saturday’s presidential election.

Announcing this in a statement signed by him, the Secretary to the State Government, George Feyii, said the directive was with immediate effect.

“The general public is hereby informed that the dusk-to-dawn curfew declared by the state government earlier in the week has been lifted with immediate effect.
