Pirate of the Caribbean Star Goes To The Hospital

Johnny Depp who plays the character of Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean movies series took some time out of his busy schedule to visit a children hospital in Australia where another series of the movie is currently been shot.
The star actor made a surprise visit to the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital in Brisbane in his Pirate of the Caribbean character as he visited both the oncology and neurology wards of the hospital.

According to some of the hospital staff, Johnny spent close to two hours with the children as he engaged in chatting, taking photos, signing autographs and also handing out gold coins as a keepsake to the children. He was also interviewed on Juiced TV which is a television program made by the children at the hospital.

This would not be the first time that Johnny Depp has spent time in children’s hospitals in his character, as a matter of fact it has been noted in the past that Johnny often carries the costume around so he can make surprise visits. He once visited Great Ormond Street Hospital in London in his costume character to recognize the work the staff had done with his own child when she was admitted at the hospital back in 2007.
