Radio Biafra Still Streams On The Internet - NBC

Five days after the dismantling of the equipment of Radio Biafra and the arrest of the operatives by the combined forces of the National Broadcasting Commission and the Department of State Security, the illegal radio station is still streaming on the Internet.

The Director of Public Affairs at the broadcast regulatory agency, Mr. Awwalu Salihu, confirmed this in a telephone interview with our correspondent in Abuja on Tuesday. Salihu said the agency was unable to dismantle the online broadcasting “because the protocol for doing so is very long.”
