Absolute Hearts Music Weekly Review + Song Of The Week

Good day people hope you enjoyed the weekend and hope you had fun during the Ileya period? We are back with the Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Review and without wasting time let begin this week's review which captures songs released from from 20^th -28^th September.

1.      Lynxxx ft Tekno - Pray For You: It has been a while since heard from the Utunu Master and now he is back with Pray For You. The beat and production of this song is top notch, the chorus also superb and all those credits go to your favourite boy Tekno. Lynxxx also showed us why we can’t just write him off yet, this is a good song and the rating is 9/10.

2.      B-Red ft Akon - Cuccumber: Nice beat and nice production, the song started well and ended well. Akon brought his A game and B-Red wasn't bad all. The rating for this song is 7/10

3.      Davido - Dodo: To be honest the only sweet thing about this song is the instrumentals and the fact that it has nice lyrics but Davido style of delivery wasn't good enough and that was the weak point of the song. 6/10

4.      Samklef ft Pepenazi x Kayswitch - Igboro: He is not just a super producer but he is also a good hitmaker. Samklef once again outdid himself on this track just as Pepenazi and Kayswitch also added their Midas touch to it. The rating is 8/10

5.      Mode 9 - Oyea Rapper (Remix): This is the kind of song that makes me hate remixes because the original of the song sounds better than this remix. He used another Reminisce song as the chorus and hook which was the only saving grace the song had. 5/10

6.      D’banj: This is Banglee second appearance on our weekly music review and this time he has two songs.

Frosh ft Akon : Ok I must confess I like this song I think it is a nice song but there is a but. Akon is the but in this song, compared to Feeling The N***a, Akon didn't impress on this song. The rate would be 6/10

The King Is Here Ft Reminisce x Cassper Nyovest: Nice instrumentals and nice production. One thing I think D’banj has gotten right for now is his chorus and that alone can make a song a hit. Reminisce x Cassper Nyovest didn't fail to impress. 7/10

7.      Blackmagic: The #B.O.B rapper is back on our weekly review with three songs;

Stress: Blackmagic just knows how to cook up those cool songs and with Kid Konnect handling the production, trust me nothing would go wrong. Stress talks about the everyday hustle we all go through and the rating for this song is 8/10.

Peace Sign: I have just one word for the production of this song AMAZING. A very nice song, it talks about life situation and how to keep the peace. A good beat with a good lyrics and a good delivery Peace Sign rating would be 7/10.

N.A.T.M.S ft M.I x Ice Prince x Jhybo: N.A.T.M.S stands for N***a Aint Telling Me Sh*t and Blackmagic went all hip pop on this one. M.I x Ice Prince x Jhybo all did a wonderful job on this joint and of course Kid Konnect once again kill it on the beat. It rating is a well deserved 9/10

8.      Joe El ft Terry G - Person Pikin: With the help of Terry G, Joe El talks about how God has been faithful to him and he appreciates everything He has done for him. 7/10 is the rating.

9.      Olalakeside ft Reminisce x Oriste Femi- Elegushi Spender (Remix): Olalakeside just decided to do the upgrade of this song and honestly he did. Reminisce x Oriste Femi gave the song more street vibes making it better than the original. The rating would be 7/10.

10.  MayD - Let Them Talking: Mister May D is back and this one is called Let Them Talking (Oyinbo Repete). With top notch production from legendary Beat, May D didn't disappoint and the rating would be 8/10.

11.  Morell - Ba Wani Bugatti: I must be honest if Morell decide to be consistent then he would end up being one of the best, if not the best hip pop act in Nigeria. This guy is naturally gifted and this song says it all. The rating for this song is 9/10.

12.  Dj Neptune ft Olamide x StoneBboy x BOJ - Baddest: With Pheelz Mr.Producer on the beat and Olamide x StoneBboy x BOJ on the chorus and verse, this song is simply the Baddest. This is another 9/10 rating.
