Ace Broadcaster, Felix Okugbe Is Dead

As we morn the former governor of bayelsa state Dr Chief Diepreye S.P. Alamieyeseigha, who passed away some few hours ago, death crept and took a veteran broadcaster Felix Okugbe who has been down for some months now, he died of cancer has he needed to perform a delicate and Spinal surgery which funds for it has been raised and he was due to travel later this month.

He died on today at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital. Until his death, he was the CEO of Mundial Sports International. It was learnt he was in the hospital for a long time. The deceased covered international competitions such as the FIFA World Cup, the Olympics Games and the All Africa Games. Okugbe was one-time Chairman of the Edo State Sports Writers Association. He is survived by a wife and children. He will be solely missed as he's a mentor to many upcoming journalists. May his soul continue to rest in peace.
