Silva And Aguero Out Injured

Manchester city have been hit with a major blow, their players, Aguero and Silva suffered injuries while playing for their respective countries.

Sergio Aguero on Thursday night suffered an hamstring injury during Argentina's World Cup qualifier against Ecuador on Thursday, he was the captain of the night in place of injured Captain Lionel Messi, who is currently recovering for a knee injury in a La Liga match with Las Palmas last month. The forward lasted just 20 minutes of Thursday's 2-0 defeat to Ecuador has been diagnosed as a grade-two tear - an injury with a typical recovery time of between two and eight weeks. He joins Argentina's growing casualty list of Lionel Messi, Ever Banega, Enzo Perez and Marcos Rojo.
And as City was taking in that news Silva was limping away from Spain's European Qualifier against Luxembourg after just nine minutes.
A statement from Spain later confirmed his injury as "a bad sprain of the internal lateral ligament of the right ankle" and said he would definitely miss next week's game against Ukraine.
With the injury to he is already ruled out of Argentina’s next World Cup qualifier match against Paraguay. He is also set to miss Manchester City’s next Premier League clash with Bournemouth, the Manchester derby on October 25, and Uefa Champions League matches with Sevilla on October 21 and November 3. Aguero's absence leaves City with just Wilfried Bony as a recognised central striker, with youngster Kelechi Iheanacho in reserve.
Meanwhile, before the game, the Argentine striker Sergio Aguero has praised his close friend and team-mate Lionel Messi, joking that his Real Madrid rival, who wears the No.7 shirt, is some way off his level. Sergio Aguero says Argentina team-mate Lionel Messi is a "10", and that Cristiano Ronaldo is "three points lower".  "Not Cristiano nor anybody else is close to Leo: he's a 10 and Cristiano is three points lower," he said with a smile, referencing the Real Madrid forward's shirt number, during an interview with TyC Sports.
With the injury to Aguero and Silva, I hope Iheanacho will be given a starting place in the lineup for the citizens.
