Footballer Sent To Prison For Breaking Opponents Leg

Nathaniel Kerr has been sentenced to a year in jail after he admitted to stomping on another player and breaking his leg on purpose.

Stuart Parsons the player injured was playing in an amateur football match in August 2014 when Kerr (24 years old) deliberately stamped on his leg, causing a number of breaks. The injury was so bad that it required reconstructive surgery which meant that 30years old Parsons had to stay in hospital for almost two months.

This injury prevented him from being able to work and support his family. Luckily for him, his teammates carried out a number of charity events to help raise funds for him while he was injured.

This injury has had a catastrophic effect on the victim’s life, meaning he has been unable to work or support his young family,All the while Kerr has shown absolutely no remorse for his vicious attack, calling the victim a ‘wimp’ and verbally abusing him as he was lying in agony on the pitch” this was what PC Louise Spencer, of Greater Manchester Police said about the incident.
