Jena Malone’s Character Has Been Cut From Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice

Actress Jena Malone was spotted on set just after cameras had begun to roll on Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice leading to rampant speculation that she’d be playing a role in the movie. It turns out Snyder actually did cast Jena but then left her on the cutting room floor.

This came to light in yet another lengthy piece from EW. Anthony Breznican who confirmed that Malone’s secret character won’t show up in the theatrical release, but will be added into the R-rated extended cut on Blu-ray. Up until now it’s been rumoured that she’s either a female take on Robin, or Barbara Gordon and while the former is still a possibility, Breznican also confirms that Malone is definitely not the latter.

Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice will be with us in just a few weeks time, as it hits theatres on March 25.
