Jennifer Lopez Addresses Mariah Carey's I Don't Know Her Comment

Remember that one time in the early 2000s when Mariah Carey was asked about Jennifer Lopez, and she responded in the most diva way possible, telling reporters I don't know her. During a sit-down interview on The Wendy Williams Show on Thursday, the J.Lo opened up about everything in her life, from her relationship with Casper Smart to American Idol to her Las Vegas residency.

She said “The residency was a dream. When I think of Vegas, I think of Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley and iconic performers. Before I even signed my deal to go to Vegas, when they were offering it to me, I went and saw a bunch of shows. I saw everybody. I saw Britney Spears, I saw Shania Twain”. However, when she noted, I didn't see Mariah because at the time she wasn't playing, Wendy responded, Who? No, I'm playing. That's what Mariah said about Jennifer one time. Lopez laughed and brushed it off, saying, She does say that. She's forgetful I guess! We've met many times. I don't know...I don't know her that well." Awkward!

This isn't the first time she's squashed rumors of their decades-long feud on WWHL. In 2014, she told Cohen, “I know from back in the day, I've read things that she's said about me that were not the greatest, but we have never met. Like, we don't know each other. I think it's kind of from word of mouth of things that have happened in the past that I'm not really aware of”.
