Yesterday we brought you news that the Amaju Pinnick was sacked as the NFF President. Now, Amaju
Pinnick and members of his Nigeria Football Federation board who were sacked
Friday by a Federal High Court in Jos, have appealed against the ruling.
Besides appealing the ruling by Justice Musa Haruna Kurya, the
board also filed for stay of execution. The ruling faulted the process which
brought the Pinnick executive to power.
On Friday, Justice Kurya has upheld all the previous reliefs of
the plaintiffs and has relisted the suit in the tussle for the NFF leadership.
The ruling
leaves Chris Giwa as the substantive head of the federation pending the final
determination of the suit.
In this light, Giwa has swiftly moved over to take over at the
Glass House where he is billed to address the media later today.
