Extinction Looms In Final Ice Age: Collision Course Trailer

 

Hoping to uphold tradition later this year is Ice Age: Collision Course, which today premiered its final trailer ahead of release that features, you guessed it, Scrat scrambling after the wayward acorn but there’s a twist to the tale, with a series of unfortunate events resulting in a massive asteroid thrown into a crash course with Earth and all of our heroes therein.

“Scrat’s epic pursuit of the elusive acorn catapults him into the universe where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that transform and threaten the Ice Age World. To save themselves, Sid, Manny, Diego, and the rest of the herd must leave their home and embark on a quest full of comedy and adventure, traveling to exotic new lands and encountering a host of colorful new characters”

Orchestrating that Collision Course are directors Mike Thurmeier and Galen T. Chu, who have assembled a who’s who of talent in the voice booth. Case in point: Denis Leary, Ray Romano, Queen Latifah, John Leguizamo and Jennifer Lopez all reprise their key roles from Continental Drift, while Fox’s animated sequel also welcomes a hoard of newcomers to the adventure, including Stephanie Beatriz, Adam DeVine, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Max Greenfield, Jessie J, Nick Offerman, Melissa Rauch and Michael Strahan.
