Diana Prince herself, Gal Gadot took to Facebook to confirm that she’s now officially wrapped on the set of Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman movie. It has been a shoot that spanned all across the globe, too, with England playing host to the wartime sequences before the crew uprooted to the mystical beaches of Themyscira circa World War I, where Diana Prince is housed up with her fellow Amazonians.
Reflecting on the filming itself, Gadot’s Facebook post also had the actress reflect on her amazing experience. She said “Today was my last day shooting the solo Wonder Woman movie! It’s been such an amazing, exciting, dreamy, happy and fascinating experience I will cherish it forever. Thank you to everyone who was involved, our amazing cast, crew and phenomenal director”
Gadot’s Wonder Woman will take center stage in the summer of 2017, where she’ll be flanked by Chris Pine, Lucy Davis, Danny Huston, Ewen Bremner, Saïd Taghmaoui, Elena Anaya and David Thewlis.
Wonder Woman opens in theaters on June 2, 2017.
