Runtown settles rift with Eric Manny Records, floats new label

The recent trouble between Nigerian pop star, Runtown and his label, Eric Manny Records owned by Okwudili Umenyiora, has been settled out of court and a new agreement has been reached, The NET is reporting.

Sources confirm to Thenetng that after the court hearing on June 14, 2016 in New York, both parties resolved to settle the case out of court with the help of the Olaniwun Ajayi law firm.
‘Runtown and Dilly agreed to settle out of court and Runtown will remain with the label for one more year but its now more of a partnership deal because it gives Runtown more control,’ a source said.
Another source confirmed to NET that Runtown has also decided to float his own record label which he is calling ‘Power In The Music’ (PITM).
