Peter Parker May Get Costume Upgrades

 

While Peter Parker’s onscreen costumes have had a connective thread in regard to visual similarities over the past fourteen years, we may see a few surprises in what has to be my most anticipated film from Marvel Studios in 2017, Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Director Jon Watts, stated something a bit obvious, yet quite intriguing, he said “Well, the suit that Spidey was given in Civil War is a Stark suit, so you have to wonder with a Stark suit, what else can it do?”

That actually does raise a good point. Aside from the contracting lenses we saw in Captain America: Civil War, I’m most interested to see what other capabilities Spidey’s suit possesses. While I’m not expecting him to go full Iron Spider as he has in the comic books or on the animated series Ultimate Spider-Man, it will be nice to see some variety to help differentiate Homecoming from the previous five solo outings, even though they existed in separate continuities.
