I was raised by the women in my family, while my father was nowhere to be found - Actress Majorie Langa

 

In a recent interview, Majorie Langa opened up about her rocky relationship with her dad, claiming that he was not there for most of her childhood. She revealed that her father gave her the cold shoulder recently, when they were reunited. Apart from admitting that she was disappointed with how her dad received her, she asserted that she still loves him regardless, because he is her father at the end of the day.

She said “I was raised by the women in my family, while my father was nowhere to be found. I was told that he wanted nothing to do with me.  I do not resent him for not being there for me. I recently tried looking for him, but did not get joy as he gave me the cold shoulder. Even though he rejected me, I still love him because he is my father. But I have made the decision not to bother him anymore, as he clearly does not want to have a relationship with me.”
