Under The Silver Lake Closing In On Riley Keough

 

Riley Keough is in final negotiations to venture Under the Silver Lake for A24’s upcoming crime noir film. The so-hot-right-now actress is on the verge of joining a cast that already boasts Dakota Johnson, Topher Grace and Andrew Garfield. David Robert Mitchell is the director at the helm as Keough is circling the film’s female lead.

Under the Silver Lake first started to coalesce at Cannes Film Festival earlier in the year, when A24 snapped up the rights off the back of Mitchell’s horror hit It Follows. In that time, Michael De Luca has come attached to produce and, should a deal fall into place, Riley Keough will be one of the final casting additions before production gets going in earnest in the early stages of 2017.

Elsewhere on the actress’ slate, there’s also an upcoming reunion with Steven Soderbergh for NASCAR heist movie Logan Lucky. The Girlfriend Experience has been renewed for a second season at Starz, so expect to see Christine Reade slink onto the small-screen next year, too.
