New Character Mad Max Joins 'Stranger Things' Season 2

 

Aside from just being very well-made and executed, Stranger Things introduced the world to a bunch of young actors who proved to be incredibly enjoyable to watch, and kept viewers hooked with some truly thrilling twists and turns that had everyone talking.
Admittedly, there’s nothing too revealing here, but we do get a look at new character Max or “Mad Max,” as the title of the season premiere refers to her as. Much is not known about the young girl just yet, but from what we’ve learned so far, we can tell you that she’s a “12-14-year-old female described as tough and confident and whose appearance, behavior and pursuits seem more typical of boys than of girls in this era.”

Of course, Max is far from the only new character. There’s a whole host of fresh faces joining the series for its sophomore outing, including Linnea Berthelsen, Sean Astin, Paul Reiser while Dacre Montgomery is set to play Billy, the overconfident step-brother to the aforementioned Max, who may or may not have something to do with the episode titled “The Lost Brother.”
