FX Release Official Trailer For 'Fargo Season 3'

Welcome to Fargo season 3, the latest rendition of FX and Noah Hawley’s anthology series that features Ewan McGregor in dual roles. The actor has signed on to play Ray and Emmitt Stussy, two mismatched brothers that come into contact after years spent apart. The latter is a handsome go-getter that views himself as the embodiment of the American Dream.

Ray is described as a balding, pot-bellied parole officer with a huge chip on his shoulder about the hand he’s been dealt – and he blames his brother. The sibling rivalry is real, and you’ll be able to get a small taste of what to expect from today’s first full trailer.

Rounding out the starry cast list for Fargo season 3 are Carrie Coon, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, David Thewlis and Jim Gaffigan. The former is on board to play Gloria Burgle, the steadfast anchor point of the local police department, with Mary Elizabeth Winstead attached to the part of Ray’s girlfriend, Nikki Swango, a “crafty and alluring recent parolee with a passion for competitive bridge.”
