Variety confirms that the actor rounds out an ensemble comprised of Rachel McAdams, Jason Bateman, Jesse Plemons and Kylie Bunbury. He’ll play the significant other to Bunbury, and together they’ll be one of the couples thrust into the spotlight once their cherished game night takes a turn for the worse.
Story-wise, there are precious few details for Goldstein and Francis Daley’s comedic romp available at this time, but sources close to Variety suggest the movie will see three very flustered couples dealing with a dead body. Dana Fox and Mark Perez pitched the screenplay to New Line almost three years ago, and though many feared Game Night had slipped into development limbo, the appointment of Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley at the helm was enough to breathe new life into the project. The co-directors turned in a revised version of the original script, too.
