'House Of Cards' Season 5 First Trailer

Come May 30^th the Underwood saga will return for its fifth season and we await that Netflix has lifted the curtain on the first House of Cards season 5 trailer, teasing a dark, brooding new chapter in the Underwood saga.

Frank and Claire were in the midst of their whistle-stop tour of America, which makes sense given season 5 largely revolves around their campaign for re-election. Standing in their way is Will Conway, a fierce opponent to both Frank and Claire after he started to make in-roads into the White House throughout the course of season 4. Now, that rivalry is beginning to bubble to the surface one again.

Behind the scenes, Netflix has elected Melissa James Gibson and Frank Pugliese as co-showrunners for the show’s fifth season, who picked up the torch once series creator and executive producer Beau Willimon made for the exit door in 2016.

Look for all 13 episodes of House of Cards season 5 to air via Netflix on May 30th.
