The Big Bang Theory, Grey's Anatomy, and other TV series that won't be ending anytime soon

As a movie lover, nothing makes me happier when my favourite TV series getting renewed for a new season and I am very sure that feeling is mutual, I mean I know a lot of people who are very excited that Prison Break is back and so many that wished a series like Vampires Dairies didn’t come to an end and those who can’t wait to see what happens to Ghost in Power
Well after taking a critical look at the politics and statistics behind most TV series I have been able to understand why some series don’t get renewed for another season and with that I have been able to single out Ten TV series I think are not getting cancelled anytime soon.
So if you are currently seeing any of these series I say no worries you are safe;

1. The Big Bang Theory:
When it comes to comedy series I am very picky and so far so good I have been happy with the few ones I have seen and The Big Bang Theory happens to be one of the most matured hilarious comedy series I have seen.

Created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, this series premiered September 24, 2007 though I didn’t start seeing it until 2016.  The main characters include Leonard Hofstadter and Sheldon Cooper, Penny, Howard Wolowitz (my favourite) and Raj KoothrappaliThe series just concluded it tenth season and has been renewed for two additional seasons, bringing its total to 12, and running through the 2018–19 television season. If you ask me I am super excited.

2. Supernatural:
I have to warn, if your religious belief are not strong then don’t see this movie and if you decide to do just take it for what it is: a TV series and nothing more. From the very first season which I started seeing sometime around 2011 though the series was premiered 2005, I fell in love with the Winchester boys.

This series just concluded it 12th season which sadly enough I haven’t seen but I know it would be explosive because at the end of the 11th season God came down to earth to contain his SISTER, yeah that's right. Now you understand why I gave you that warning at the beginning. The series is created by Eric Kripke, if you notice anything supernatural in your neighbour be sure to call Dean and Sam Winchester.

3. Grey's Anatomy:
This is one series I still don’t understand how it got this far, after seeing the fourth season I got fed up but to my surprise I found out some weeks ago that the series is still going strong as it now has 13 season and a 14th season would be premiering this year.

The series is a medical drama which focuses on the fictional lives of surgical interns, residents and attending physicians, as they evolve into seasoned doctors while trying to maintain personal lives and relationships. It revolves around the title character, Dr. Meredith Grey and it is created by Shonda Rhimes and it premiered in 2005.

4. Family Guy:
I am not much of a cartoon/animation guy but I couldn’t help not seeing Family Guy, very hilarious and best part you can pick any season to watch and you will still get the gist.

Premiered in 1999, this series currently has 15 seasons and it’s cantered around the Griffins, a family consisting of parents Peter and Lois; their children Meg, Chris, Stewie; and their anthropomorphic pet dog Brian and it is created by Seth MacFarlane.

5. American Dad!
Premiered 2005 and presently has 14 seasons this also an adult animated series created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Barker, and Matt Weitzman.  The series focuses on the Smith family and their three housemates which include Stan, his wife Francine; their daughter Hayley and their son, Steve. There are three additional main characters, including Hayley's boyfriend, Jeff Fischer; the goldfish Klaus and Roger (my favourite).

6. NCIS:
Premiered Sept. 23, 2003, NCIS is an action police series revolving around a team of special agents from the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which investigates crimes involving the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps. This series is created by Donald P. Bellisario and Don McGill, it has 14 season so far and it still going strong.

7. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit
I have to confess I have only seen the first season of this series which was cool by the way but knowing that I have 17 more seasons to go, mehn that seems like a high mountain to climb. Premiered in 1999 created by Dick Wolf, in May 2017, this series which is centred around the detectives of the Special Victims Unit in a fictional version of the 16th Precinct of the New York City Police Department was renewed for a 19th season

8. South Park:
South Park is an animated series created by Trey Parker and Matt Stone and developed by Brian Graden. The show revolves around four boys which are Stan Marsh, Kyle Broflovski, Eric Cartman, and Kenny McCormick and their weird adventures in and around Colorado town. It was premiered in 1997 and has a massive 20 seasons so far.

9. The Simpsons:
This is probably and if am not mistaken the oldest TV/Animated series out there, Premiered Dec. 17, 1989, The Simpsons has 28 seasons in total.  Created by Matt Groening, James L. Brooks and Sam Simon, the series is an ironic depiction of working-class life epitomized by the Simpson family, which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie.

10. Criminal Minds:
The first time I heard about this series was 2011 and I was able to see it to season four before I somehow lost interest but the rating of the series has been pretty strong because it has 12 seasons in total. The series actually premiered Sept. 22, 2005 and it was created by Jeff Davis, the series follows a group of FBI profilers who set about catching various criminals through behavioural profiling.

This are some of the movie series not ending soon. Do you have any series you are currently watching that should make this list? Share with us in the comment section below.
