Press Release: Organisers of 'King and Queen of Ekiti Beauty Pageant' announce registration procedure

King and Queen of Ekiti beauty contest is a cultural and talent pageant with the aim of promoting the cultural heritage and value of the people of Ekiti State both at home and in diaspora, the new platform aims at connecting young people to their roots and enlighten them on the history of their fatherland.

This power-packed pageant is organized by Might Media House and Rahza Concepts and is open to all youths between the ages of 16-26 years and of a Nigerian nationality.

The key focus of the event is demonstrating how diversity enriches Ekiti state and demonstrate the importance of heritage and culture.

The organiser of the event, Mr Olumide Ogunmiluyi said the event is not the regular type in the state as it comprise both male and female category. He also said it should be noted that it is not all about the facial beauty, skin color or tribe that stands as a criteria rather it is focused on confidence, poised and composure that is being exhibited.

Another distinguished feature of the event is that all contestants are carried along after the event and hence the slogan …fame for everyone!

He later called on interested individuals who wish to be part of this pageant to do so now as the registration for 2018 has begun.

The pageant month will be filled with glamour and intellectual life. Finalists will be physically and mentally groomed and trained (entrepreneurship training and skills acquisition). They will spread awareness via advocacy, be challenged with high fashioned photo shoots, runway shows, and speeches on women empowerment.
