Spanish Authorities searched Pep Guardiola plane for exiled leader

According to Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, the Spanish authorities searched his plane, reportedly on the look-out for exiled Catalan leader Carles Puigdemont.
The former Barcelona manager has been charged by the FA for wearing a political message, specifically a yellow ribbon in support of imprisoned Catalan politicians. Events developed further when Guardiola this week confirmed a private plane with his family on board was searched by Spanish police, following reports of the matter in his homeland.

Authorities were reportedly on the lookout for Puigdemont, the exiled leader of Catalonia, who was behind the unofficial referendum of 2017.Guardiola confirmed this did happen as he spoke to media at a press conference on Friday but said it was not a major issue.

He said "The police do their job, they have the right to do it, my family saw it, they saw the police searching the plane, and that's it."
