Hollywood: 8 best movies so far in 2018

Considering the amount of movies that has come out of Hollywood this year, it would be difficult keeping up with the pace and what's more difficult is knowing which of these movies are worth your time.
Today on Absolute Hearts Blog, we have decided to give you 8 of the best movies 2018 has to offer so far, so in no particular order check our list

  1. Breaking In
Gabrielle Union stars as a mother whose weekend getaway with her kids goes awry when a group of men break into their high-tech estate and threaten their lives. Expect to see Union kick plenty of butts  in this action thriller.

  1. Life of the Party
Melissa McCarthy relives her glory days in this college comedy, which sees her going back to school and reinventing herself after getting dumped by her husband and a frat party antics followed.

  1. Deadpool 2
This is a brilliant follow up to the first movie as Ryan Reynolds's Merc With a Mouth clashes with Josh Brolin's Cable in this high-octane sequel, which sees the titular antihero teaming up with a motley crew.

  1. Solo: A Star Wars Story
This is for the Star Wars followers, In Solo, we meet a young Han Solo long before he ever links up with Luke or Leia. Han is recruited by Tobias Beckett to join his crew on a mission against an intergalactic gangster. On top of that, it details Han's first meeting with Lando Calrissian and Chewbacca.

  1. Adrift
This film is based on a true story. During a tropical getaway in Tahiti, Tami and Richard fall in love and decide to go on an epic adventure: sailing close to 1,000 miles to the coast of California. Then, of course, a catastrophic hurricane hits their boat and all hell breaks loose. This film promises plenty of romance and potentially a reason to never get on a boat ever again.

  1. Ocean's 8
The female  version of the popular ocean is here and the heist movie follows the late Danny Ocean's sister, Debbie Ocean, as she gathers an all-female crew to pull off a job at New York City's yearly Met Gala after being released from prison. With the help of Cate Blanchett, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, and Awkwafina's characters, she plans to make off with a $100 million necklace.

  1. American Animals
Evan Peters, Ann Dowd, Blake Jenner, and more star in American Animals, which tracks the events leading up to and after an audacious heist pulled off by four misguided young men in Kentucky who decide to steal the rarest books from Transylvania University's library.

  1. Hereditary
This is an horror film and it stars Toni Collette, Ann Dowd, and Alex Wolff and follows the seemingly cursed Graham family as they come apart at the seams after the death of their mysterious matriarch, Ellen. Are they haunted? Are witches involved? Is it all in their heads?!
