Nigerian Professional Football league Matches For Week 23

The Nigerian Professional Football league matches for week 23 matches kicked off yesterday 15th,August 2015.

With matches of  Bayelsa United against Enyimba International which score line ended in score draw as both teams scored in the first half of the encounter as Sikiru Kamal drew the first blow for Enyimba in the 11th min before Raphael Onwurebe gave the home team an equalizer, the match was played in  Oghara Township Stadium. The match ended with both teams trying to get a winning goal. Enyimba still remain top of the league with 42points with their closest rivals been Sunshine Stars of Akure who have a game in hand with 40 points. If Sunshine win today, they will regain the stop spot they lost two weeks ago, Sunshine stars will be playing against Giwa FC of Jos.

Another match played yesterday was Abia Warriors against El-Kanemi Warriors, the battle of two warriors, the matched ended with the home team ,Abia warriors winning the game via an own goal from Kabiru Adewale in the 82nd min when he headed Nwanna's cross into his own net, to hand the Umuahia side an easy victory. The win propels Abia Warriors to fourth place on the log, pending the conclusion of match day 23 games on Sunday.
