Actress Charged With Dog Smuggling

Wife and actress Amber Heard has been charged with dog smuggling in Australia. Amber Heard who is the wife of Johnny Depp the star of Pirate of the Caribbean is been charged for bringing her dogs into the country illegally.

She brought her dogs which names are Pistol and Boo into the country but she failed to follow the laws which says that all pets coming into the country needs to be quarantined.

If the actress is found guilty she could spend up to ten years in jail and have to pay as much as $100,000 in fine, the reason why the Australian Government says every pets coming into the country must be quarantined is to protect other people and their pets from anything foreign animals may be bringing into the country.

This is just to show that in Australia nobody is above the law, not even the wife of the famous Johnny Depp who about some months ago visited a children hospital to spend time with the children. The alleged dog smuggling case happened back in May but Heard is set to be in court this week though the dogs are now back in the U.S after they were given the option of removing them from Australia or turning them over for euthanasia.
