Movies To Watch This Septemeber

Happy New Month People, Absolute Hearts wishes you all a wonderful movie month and with that been said here are the movies to watch out for this month.

The Transporter Refueled

If you have seen the previous Transporter then the story of Frank Martin won’t be new to you but in this new action packed, fast crazy car driving Transporter, Frank Martin is played by newcomer Ed Skrein, a former special-ops mercenary, who is now living a less risky life - or so he thinks - transporting classified packages for questionable people. When Frank's father (Ray Stevenson) pays him a visit in the south of France, their father-son bonding weekend takes a turn for the worse when Frank is engaged by a cunning femme-fatale, Anna (Loan Chabanol), and her three seductive sidekicks to orchestrate the bank heist of the century. Frank must use his covert expertise and knowledge of fast cars, fast driving and fast women to outrun a sinister Russian kingpin, and worse than that, he is thrust into a dangerous game of chess with a team of gorgeous women out for revenge.

Maze Runner: Scorch Trail

In this next chapter of the epic "Maze Runner" saga, Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) and his fellow Gladers face their greatest challenge yet: searching for clues about the mysterious and powerful organization known as WCKD. Their journey takes them to the Scorch, a desolate landscape filled with unimaginable obstacles. Teaming up with resistance fighters, the Gladers take on WCKD's vastly superior forces and uncover its shocking plans for them all. I for one can’t wait for this movie to be out.

CAPTIVE

In this fact-based thriller that was directed by Jerry Jameson, a single mother who struggles with drug addiction was randomly taken hostage in her own apartment by a man on the run from the law for breaking out of jail and murdering the judge assigned to his case - only to realize before the climactic finish that they have actually saved each other's lives. The movie stars the Kate Mara, David Oyelowo Mimi Rogers and Michael Kenneth Williams amongst others.

About Ray

Ray is a teenager who has come to the realization that she isn't meant to be a girl and has decided to transition from female to male. His single mother, Maggie, must track down Ray's biological father to get his legal consent to allow Ray's transition. Dolly, Ray's lesbian grandmother, is having a hard time accepting that she now has a grandson. They must each confront their own identities and learn to embrace change and their strength as a family in order to ultimately find acceptance and understanding. This movie is directed by Gaby Dellal and was written by Nikole Beckwith and Gaby Dellal and it features stars likes Naomi Watts, Elle Fanning and Susan Saranson amongst others.

Sicario

The movie tells a story about an FBI agent that is enlisted by an elected government task force to aid in the escalating war against drugs at the border area between the U.S. and Mexico. The movie that features stars like Emily Blunt, Jon Bernthal, Joah Brolin was directed by Denis Villeneuve and was written by Taylor Sheridan

BLACK MASS

Directed by Scott Cooper and written by Mark Mallouk and Jez Butterworth, this movie features Johnny Depp, Benedict Cumberbacth just but to mention a few and it tells the story of John Connolly and James "Whitey" Bulger.

Both grew up together on the streets of South Boston and decades later, they met again. By then, Connolly was a major figure in the FBI's Boston office and Whitey had become godfather of the Irish Mob. What happened between them - a dirty deal to trade secrets and take down Boston's Italian Mafia in the process - would spiral out of control, leading to murders, drug dealing, racketeering indictments, and, ultimately, to Bulger making the FBI's Ten Most Wanted List.

Wolf Totem

In 1967, a young Beijing student, Chen Zhen, is sent to live among the nomadic herdsmen of Inner Mongolia. Caught between the advance of civilization from the south and the nomads' traditional enemies - the marauding wolves - to the north; humans and animals, residents and invaders alike, struggle to find their true place in the world. This beautiful movie is directed by Jean Jacques Annaud and features act like Ankhnyam Ragchaa, Shaofeng Feng.

90 Minutes In Heaven

Directed by Michael Polish, the movie features act like Kate Bosworth, Hayden Christensen, and Hudson Meek amongst other. It tells a story about a man that was involved in a horrific car crash and was pronounced dead, only to come back to life an hour and a half later, claiming to have seen Heaven.

Mississippi Grind

Down on his luck and facing financial hardship, Gerry teams up with a younger fascinating poker player named Curtis in an attempt to change his luck. The two set off on a road trip through the South with visions of winning back what has been lost. Directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and had appearances from the likes of Ben Mendelsohn, Yvonne Landry and Anthony Howard.

EVEREST

What could be more adventurous than climbing the highest mountain? Everest is a movie directed by Baltasar Kormakur and it talks about a climbing expedition on Mt. Everest that was distraught by a severe snow storm. It features the likes of Jake Gyllenhaal, Keira Knightley and Elizabeth Debicki.
