El-Kanemi Warriors Get 6 Points Deduction

 

El-Kanemi Warriors were the first Nigeria Premier League side to receive a six point’s deduction from the League Management Company (LMC) in its bid to secure the welfare of players in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).

El-Kanemi Warriors were handed a 14-working days ultimatum to pay all outstanding financial entitlement of players and officials and failure to do so as resulted into automatic points’ deduction.

“A deduction of six points is imposed on El-Kanemi Warriors” and that “the application of the points deduction referred in 1 above is suspended for a period of 14 clear working days from the date of this decision provided that if the club fails to remedy the breach within the period, the points deduction shall immediately take effect from October 28, 2015” this is from the statement that was released by the L.M.C
