Absolute Hearts Weekly Video Analysis

Thank God Is Friday and it is time for another Absolute Hearts Weekly Video Analysis and without any further ado here is what we have for you.

1.      Ice Prince- Feelings: I like this video for the fact that it is simple and clear, no unnecessary scene or unneeded effect, it was straight to the point. The story line of the video didn't really do justice to the song but it showed some feelings, spending most of your time with your girl even when you are throwing a house party and you are all over  your girl, trust me that one good way of showing your feelings. There was a bit of confusion at the end of the video when the director decided to do a roll back of the scenes, you only do a roll back scene when you want the audience to pay attention to something they might have missed earlier or probably because you inserted a scene at the end that need a rollback to make that scene clear. The roll back in this video didn't show any of that and for that I would be rating this video 6/10

2.      Lil Kesh ft Patoranking- Is It Beacuse I Love You: Story line was good, continuity was on point, location was also cool and of course the rollback in this video made more sense compared to Ice Prince's Feelings. The only thing Unlimited LA did wrong in this video was that background where Kesh and Patoranking were standing, I mean what was that behind them? what kind of light or design was that? All in all this video is a good one and I rate it 7/10.

3.      Wizkid- Baba Nla (Final): This is actually the first Sesan directed video that I would give thumbs up since the inception of this analysis. The story line was good as he really painted Wizkid in that Baba Nla swag, the effects were not bad either. I rate this video 7/10.

4.      Adekunle Gold- Pick Up: Like I said when this song dropped, I would say it again, Adekunle Gold has been a blessing to our music industry. I don't even know where to start with this video, is it the concept and story line or the lesson we could learn from the video or the cultural side he was also promoting? abeg this video is dope. Adasa Cookey you killed it on this one, the rating is going to be a solid 9/10.

5.      Falz ft Reminisce- Clap: If you listen to the intro and outro of this song then you would understand why this video did a perfect justice to this song. Mex directed the video in the best way it should be directed, the whole boxing concepts made sense and the effect were so on point. I rate this video 8/10.

6.      Phenom- Shanowole: Director Q abeg you kill this video, your concept was badt and your effect was baddest. You gave the video that much needed dark hardcore visual that the song itself portrays and that made lots of sense. I rate the video 7/10.
