Absolute Hearts Weekly Video Analysis

Yes Yes Yes it is another Friday and it is a Christmas Friday, Merry Merry Merry Christmas to all my esteemed and faithful readers. I wish you a wonderful celebration as I also wish you Happy New Year in advance.
With that been said, here are the videos we shall be analyzing on today’s episode of Absolute Hearts Video Analysis;
1.      Olamide: Off his newly released album Olamide has drop two videos which are;
Don't stop: To be candid this video is a total waste of time, money and energy, yes it is a party track and Unlimited L.A was trying to create a new concept for the video but he got it all wrong. We couldn’t say for certain what kind of party they were having, whether na wedding, naming, burial, birthday or even get together we couldn’t say all we knew was the fact that people where all dressed up and where eating all kind of food. Though it had some funny scene and cool effect that is what boosted the rating to 4/10.
Eyan Mayweather: Now this is the Unlimited L.A that I know, very cool video with nice concept. Every effect in this video was so on point and very much blended with the song. I rate this video 7/10.

2.      DJ Neptune ft Olamide x Stonebwoy x BOJ - Baddest: Every aspect of this video was so dope, big ups to Mex he killed it on this one. The way he shot the Olamide part reminds me of Michael Jackson's video Bad, the whole street movement was on point, the camera alignment and rotation was superb as it gave Olamide's verse that bad boy swag and he nailed it finally as he took the party off the street to the backyard. I rate this video 8/10.

3.      Davido x Dammy Krane- Izzue:  Okay this is another video that was in line with the song, to be honest I didn't really understand the song and the whole Izzue thing but after I saw the video I understood it perfectly and that is what a video should do to a song. Though there is one thing I didn't like about the video and it was the car scene, I mean why stay in the car if you won’t drive it, also that scene was too dark and it looked like they were in a car showroom only or a garage with the way the wall was. But all in all this is another good video from Unlimited L.A and I rate it 7/10.

4.      Tiwa Savage ft Don Jazzy- African Waist: They say first impression matters and the first impression I got about this video wasn't what I saw. First let look at the title of the song 'African Waist' with emphasis on African, how come the video didn't really portray any African trace in it? plus I didn't even see any waist. What I saw was some happy people who came to attend a carnival in another country and they were waving their flag as a symbol of where they came from.  I rate this video 3/10.

That's it for this week, join us on Monday for Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Review.
