Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Review (Week 21)

Once again it is another beautiful Monday, another beautiful week and of course another episode of Absolute Hearts Weekly Music Review. I hope you all had a good musical weekend because I did and with that been said let go straight to the business of the day.

1.      Dammy Krane- Favour Of God: I have always said any artiste that does a spiritual or a praise song always get it right in terms of how the song connect with the people. Dammy Krane's Favour Of God is one song I don’t connect with because of the chorus which sounds like he was trying to coordinate a choir. This feeling is just my personal feeling but for the music lovers this is not a bad song though the arrangement was poor and I rate it a 6/10.

2.      HumbleSmith – Osinachi (Remix): To be candid the original version of this song hasn’t really stick with me and I am not sure the remix is going down well with me too. I know this is a song that gives thanks to God but I think Davido could have done better with his verse on this song. The only thing I personally like about this song is the rhythm and the instrumental and I rate this song 6/10.

3.    D’Banj- Emergency: Okay I like the beat of this song, it is afro pop and at first I thought D’Banj was going to do a Fela on us but that wasn’t the case. The only positive review about the song is the chorus which was backed up with a very good hook and of course his harmonica was also a saving grace. I rate this song 6/10

4.      Lil Kesh- Ibile: Fresh off the Headies controversy Kesh released on new song titled Ibile and he had two powerful producers on this Pheelz and Young John. This song has every potential to take over the street just as he previous hit has done. I rate this song over 8/10.

5.      Yung L- Brand New: This is a very cool song from Yung L and I must say this, the instrumental is very dope. In a very different pattern Yung L has given us a very cool long song titled Brand New. I rate this song 8/10.

6.      Samklef ft Oriste Femi x Vector- Ayenlo: Very nice beat and cool production from Samklef. Oriste Femi and Vector also brought their A-game and together they gave this Samklef's song a 7/10 rating.

7.      DJ Shiru ft Patoranking Dance Well: This is a song that would definitely top charts as Patoranking brought his A-game on this lovely and groove-able song from DJ Shiru. In a true reggae fashion Patoranking made sure he made this DJ Shiru song is a hit. I rate this song a 9/10.
The Absolute Hearts Song of the Week is DJ Shiru ft Patoranking- Dance Well

The Absolute Hearts Recommended Song of the Week is Lil Kesh- Ibile
