Absolute Hearts Weekly Video Analysis.

Good day my beautiful readers, Thank God Is Friday and once again I present to you the best musical video analysis you can’t find anywhere, The Absolute Hearts Video Analysis.
A quick reminder, this analysis has nothing to do with the artiste instead we focus on the director and how the video was able to help the song in question and with that been said let dive into what we have today;

1.      Tiwa Savage ft Olamide – Standing Ovation: This are the kinds of video that make me love Clearance, he did a wonderful job on this one. From the beginning to the end every aspect of this video was full of life which was in tune with the song also. The location and the whole taking over the street by Tiwa was so on point though it would have been nice having Olamide on the street scene too. The effects in Olamide scene were so on point and to be candid this video would definitely push this song further and for that I rate this video 8/10.

2.      DJ Jimmy Jatt ft Wizkid- Feel The Beat: Not really sure what Director Q was trying to achieve with this video because he didn't really show us the people that were feeling the beat. I understand the fact that he was trying to come in from a different angle with the whole open bar kind of setting but since the song was about how the people where feeling the work of Jimmy Jatt then I think that should appear more. A good example of what this video should have looked like is DJ Xclusive Dami Si video. My rating for this video would be a 5/10.

3.      MC Galaxy- Hello: They say na over sabi dey kill monkey and that is the story of this video. The video had a very nice concept and story line but the narrator of the story was the spoiler. His narration of the story wasn't what happened in  the video, I mean in what part exactly did they beat or flog MC Galaxy and really what was all that laugh about I guess it was the wine that was talking.  Another part of this video I didn't like was how easily convinced the King was, I mean he could have done more than shouting “palm wine tapper in my own palace”. Why shout “guard” like say you wanted them to kill him only for them to let him in and to be candid I didn't see anything brave in what he did, I am just saying. All in all I rate this video 6/10.

4.      YQ ft Ice Prince- That Girl: The only reason why I like this video is because of the location, the beach was a perfect theme to the video because it represent where people do go sometimes for summer holiday which was duly mentioned in the song. I think what I am kind of struggling with in this video is the night scene, I don't know but I feel that night scene should have been more of inside then on the beach unless of course YQ was with “That Girl with a big bum bum” which apparently we didn't even get to see in the video though girls plenty for the video sha but none with a big bum bum. I rate this video a 6/10

5.      Tunde Ednut- Kosowo: To show you guys how much I like this video I saw it up to 10 times immediately I downloaded it, the concept was dope even though it was copied from this movie Book of Eli still it was on point and that effect of how the girl came out from the sand, mehn that was pretty cool. The only problem this video has is that it does not in any way relate to this song and that is a no no for me, so my rating would be 4/10.

6.      Samklef ft May D- Birthday Girl: Very simple and straight to the point video, every effect was necessary and wasn't too much. Nice job by Samklef for the way he directed this video. My rating would be 7/10.

7.      Blackface Naija - Killah: Been a while I saw a video from Blackface, that was why I was excited when I saw this video and I would say I was impressed. The video had the needed effect which was very dope.  Good dance hall song with a very good dance hall video from Akin Alabi and everything blended together to get a 7/10.

That's all for today, hope you enjoyed it?
