Bill Cosby Breaks Silence After Arrest

Bill Cosby took to twitter on New Year's Eve, to thank his fans for their support, just a day after he was charged with felony aggravated indecent assault for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, mansion in January 2004.

The 78-year-old comedian was arraigned in Elkins Park on Wednesday afternoon and released after posting $1 million bail and he has now been bombarded with angry responses, with people tweeting back with messages like “You're not welcome” and “You kidding, man?” when he wrote “Friends and fans, Thank you”.

Meanwhile, Constand asked her followers be respectful while discussing the case saying “Let's all stay classy plz! That includes anybody who may be inserting their opinion as to whether anything was fully investigated period”. She received mixed messages of support and criticism, with one user telling her to “stay strong” and another saying, “you should be ashamed of yourself
